Hi there! I'm Harvey, your friendly neighborhood gentle giant. I might look big and strong, but deep down, I'm a softie who absolutely adores affection. There's nothing I love more than getting head scratches from my people. Seriously, I could soak up those scratches all day long until you're ready for me to move along. Don't worry, I understand when it's time to give you some space.
I'm pretty low-energy most of the time, preferring to chill out and relax with my favorite humans. But I do enjoy the occasional walk, car ride, or even a fun shopping trip. Wherever you are, that's where I want to be, just hanging out and enjoying each other's company.
Now, about my crate-it's not my favorite place. I'm still learning that it's a safe space for me, so I'll need some continued training and patience to get more comfortable with it. I'm friendly with other dogs, but I haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet, so that's still to be determined.
I think I'd do best in a home with older kids since I can get a little jumpy at times. With the right training and a patient, understanding leader, I know I can become even more confident. If you're looking for a lovable teddy bear to add to your family, I'm your guy. Let's get this forever adventure started.

We are a foster/volunteer based 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.
