Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ambro is a cute 2-year old male (possible) Collie/Shepherd mix who was brought to the HSOV on June 29, 2024 but, unfortunately, the individual who left him with us did not provide any information. So it is unclear whether he is a stray or if he was an owner surrender. We hope that someone will recognize Ambro and help us either reunite him with his family or give us information about where he might have been found if he was a stray.

Ambro has a brown medium-haired coat with a patch of white on his chest, white paws, a long tail, and a handsome face with amber-colored eyes, a liver-colored nose, and floppy ears which are fringed in wispy curls.

He has a friendly, outgoing personality and made the most of his '15-minutes of fame' when HSOV Kennel Tech Wyatt Valentine accompanied him for preliminary outdoor photos on June 30, 2024.

Ambro currently weighs 43 lbs.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, this good-looking boy (Ambro) will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.

Update: Ambro was neutered on August 5, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. He was adopted on September 28, 2024.

Ambro came back to HSOV on October 12, 2024 since he played a little too rough with young children but was NOT aggressive with them. He was also an accomplished "escape artist" and his adoptive family was afraid that he would run into the road and be hit by traffic.
