For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Humane Society of Greater Dayton with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jasmine, the gorgeous girl with a big personality and a love for long walks! Jasmine is always up for a stroll around the neighborhood, and she'll happily join you on any adventure. She's got plenty of energy and loves to have fun, especially when toys and treats are involved!
While Jasmine can get a little too excited at times, she's working hard on channeling that energy in better ways. With a bit of patience and some tasty treats as motivation, she's making great progress and will thrive with someone who can continue her training.
If you're looking for a playful companion with lots of love and personality, Jasmine could be your perfect match! To meet her, stop by the shelter or fill out an adoption application on our website today!

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
