My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeke will be part of our Pop Up Program (followyourheartanimalrescue.org/pop-up-pups) and available to adopt ONLINE ONLY on Thursday, July 11th at 5:00pm. You must be able to finalize his adoption on Saturday, July 13th. Zeke will be available to MEET ONLY on Saturday, July 6th at our Petsmart location (857 N Val Vista #106 , Gilbert, AZ 85234) from noon to 3:00PM.

Zeke is a 6 months old Yorkie. He has already learned how to use the doggy door and is learning to go potty outside. He's still a little cautious of the 2 legged people in his foster moms house but absolutely loves all the 4 legged friends. He is very curious of things that are going on around him and loves to explore.

More about this rescue

The Follow Your Heart Foundation is committed to preventing the unnecessary euthanization and abuse of abandoned and/or abused animals.

In order to fulfill this mission, Follow Your Heart will engage in the following activities:

Foster Program-Animals will be rescued from shelters and placed in temporary foster homes to save them from being euthanized. During this time, animals will be provided with proper nutrition, shelter and analysis to determine appropriate long term housing.

Adoption Services - the organization will work to find each animal that is rescued a forever home that is willing and able to make the long term commitment to a family pet.

Public Education - Abuse, neglect and irresponsible pet ownership leads to thousands of animals being killed each year. One way to combat these issues is through continued public education to not only raise awareness about animal abuse, but also promote responsible pet ownership.

Medical Treatment - Animals rescued will be provided proper medical treatment as needed.
