Welcome to the rescue, Roxy! Roxy is Shih Tzu mix. She is estimated to be 4 years old and currently weighs about 14 pounds. Roxy was released from a mill breeder after having multiplie litters of puppies. It's time for Roxy to live the good life! Although Roxy came from a mill, she doesn't act like a typical mill dog. She is actually quite friendly and affectionate! Roxy is living with dogs in her fostesr home, has met other dogs and has done well. She basically seems neutral to other dogs. Roxy is fine with respectful children that don't want to be in her space all the time. She enjoys being held and follows her foster around, but is also independent. She doesn't seem to have any fears of people. Roxy walks very well on leash. She is crate trained, but prefers to sleep in the bed with the humans. She is mostly housebroken and is still working on it to get better. Roxy's foster describes her as pure joy and is probably one of the nicest dogs she has ever met. Let's find this deserving girl a home so she can live her best life! Roxy's adoption fee is $300 which goes towards spaying at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs associated with fostering.
