Boomer II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.
Hi! My name is Boomer II! I am a handsome 5-year-old flashy brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to my current owner being unable to care for me. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, and affectionate! It is unknown if I am dog friendly due to not having much exposure to/socializing with other dogs so a proper introduction would be needed. I do not live with children or cats so proper introduction would be needed for them as well. I am house trained but would need assistance learning crate training manners if that is required in my forever home. At night I sleep on the couch or on my dog bed. I have been with my current owner for a short time and not left alone, so it is unsure how I would react if alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. So far I have not shown to be fearful of anything. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, squeaker tennis balls, tug toys, playing, running, chewing, tugging, sitting in the human’s lap, getting attention, and using my paws! I’m not a fan of squirrels, small lizards, or bugs (I need to learn that bugs are not part of my diet). My current owner says I am “a sweet boxer”. If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
