LIKES: Laying in the sunshine, having her ears and nose rubbed, seeing how fast she can run, and starting trouble with her brother, Wayne.
DISLIKES: Harnesses, leashes, getting outfitted with accessories, etc. (All easily overcome with training, patience, and repetition.)
PERSONALITY TRAITS: A little timid at first, then she's a Velcro-dog. She gets along great with other dogs and cats. She's a little weary of small children, their activity level makes her nervous and she'll hide under the closest thing she can find to avoid the energy level. She is NOT aggressive in any way.
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: 95%! She might piddle if she's excited to see her people.
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Wendy sleeps in the crate and is good about being in one when she cannot be supervised by her foster family.
EXTRAS/MISC.: Wendy is a snuggler. If you sit down at all, she's right next to you or on your lap. When she is happy or excited she walks around on her hind feet. She loves to run around the yard and chase her brother, Wayne, and she LOVES to lay right on top of the tolerant older dog in her foster home.

Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants to find the best fit for each adoptable dog and potential family. Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog or a response email as we get hundreds of applications and choose the best home for the dog.
Distemper/Parvo boosters, and rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield.
Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy.
