My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cookie, a spirited senior dog with a zest for life! Despite being about 8 years old, Cookie plays like a puppy and has a boundless love for the outdoors. She enjoys playing with balls, chasing squirrels, and has a special talent for playing soccer all by herself.

Cookie was found as a stray in Little Rock, AR, and a kind Samaritan brought her to our rescue group, ArkanPaws. She has been living on our rescue farm for over a year now, and we're eager to find her the forever home she deserves.

Cookie is independent and prefers solo play over interacting with other dogs. She has a very high prey drive, so she needs to be in a cat-free household. With her impressive mousing skills, Cookie would make a great addition to a farm, helping keep the rodent population in check.

Fully vetted and on heartworm prevention, Cookie is ready to bring joy and excitement to her new home. Her adoption fee is $350, covering the cost of transport from Arkansas to New England.

If you're looking for a playful, independent, and energetic companion, Cookie is the perfect match for you!

Adopt Cookie and let her playful spirit brighten your days!

Go meet their pets

We have many events in the Central Arkansas area! And if you are not in the Central Arkansas area, we are more than happy to send you videos and flood you with photos of your pup. :) We operate in New England as well, and typically are there for 4-5 days out of the month. Also, please speak to the foster parent to find out anything you'd like to know. We are more than happy to connect you!

More about this rescue

Our goal is to educate the public on spaying/neutering their pets, as well as to advocate/provide safe temporary homes for displaced, neglected, or abused animals. We rehabilitate, vet, and place in permanent homes, as well as offering transport to the New England area.
