Janet is a lovely female tuxedo kitten with a heartwarming story. This sweet girl, along with her siblings and feral mother, was discovered outside on Christmas day. Janet is a bit shy initially, requiring a patient and understanding adopter to help her blossom.

Currently in a foster home, Janet is slowly learning to trust humans. Once she feels comfortable, she transforms into a playful companion who will undoubtedly steal your heart. Her purrs are loud, and she loves to find her spot at the end of the bed for a cozy nap. Though still a little skittish, she will need a quiet home. This assures a peaceful environment for Janet to thrive and build a strong bond with her new family.

Applications for "pre-approval" are encouraged even before you find that purr-fect animal.

Approve Application

This may take several days as references are checked and the application is reviewed by our adoption committee.

Sign Adoption Contract

We have an adoption application. This application is reviewed, references checked and approved or not. Kittens under the age of 6 months are not adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years for the safety of both the kitten and the children. Potential adopters must be at least 18 years old. Renters must have landlord approval. Occasionally a home check is done for cats if there are concerns. All adopters must fill out and sign a contract. If the animal does not work out for any reason, we insist it is returned to us. The fee for cats 6 months old and older is $125. Kittens adoptions fee is $150. We require the animal is cared for and has regular vaccinations. If we feel a cat will be allowed to go outside or declawed, this is cause for a refusal.

Go meet their pets

The local Petco and PetSmart stores has allowed our group to partner with them in promoting responsible pet care and adoption.We have several animals housed in habitats at Great Falls PetCo and PetSmart stores. We also have an adoption event every Saturday in their stores for our animals from 12-3pm.

More about this rescue

The Pet Paw-see is an entirely volunteer organization made up of people passionate about animal welfare. We take in unwanted, stray, injured and owner turn-in pets. All of our animals are given a vet check, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and any other medical needs addressed prior to being available for adoption. They are all put into either foster care or boarding. We are also allowed to keep up to 8 cats at a time at our local Petco Store. They built our group a cat habitat in the store for viewing and meeting our cats.

We also have cats at the Great Falls PetSmart store

In addition to rescue and adoptions, we are very active in education on responsible pet ownership, trap neuter release of feral cats,and a senior cat for senior adult program.
