Lecter enjoys the company of other cats and is particularly fond of lounging in cozy spots. His absolute favorite thing in the world is Churu treats-just show him the package, and you'll see his eyes light up with excitement!

One of our dedicated volunteers, Patti, has a special place in her heart for Lecter. She knows he will make a wonderful companion for someone who understands his need for a calm and quiet home. Lecter might take a little time to come out of his shell, but once he does, you'll have a loyal and loving friend for life.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a central building. Our rescue registration number with the State of NY is RR131. For logistical reasons, all of our foster homes are in Lewis and Jefferson Counties. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, we ask you to first fill out the adoption application, which can be found in the main menu. You do not need to live in Lewis or Jefferson county to adopt; we do adopt out of state (and to Canada as well!)
