Sedona is a charming three-year-old, 8-pound Chihuahua mix with a
unique personality. Despite her small size, she has the heart of a Basset
Hound, reveling in the joy of exploring the world with her nose. It's a
delightful sight to watch little Sedona, her tiny nose snuffling along the
ground as she follows an intriguing scent.

When it comes to playtime, Sedona's preferences are clear—she adores
people more than toys or even treats. Her ideal day involves exploring her
surroundings with her human companion close by or enjoying a cozy
moment sitting in their lap, soaking up all the affection and petting she can
get. Sedona dreams of finding a best friend forever, someone who will
appreciate her loving nature and share in her adventures.

Sedona's adoption fee of $225 covers essential services, including
spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary
wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. To meet Sedona and
see if she is the perfect addition to your family, please schedule an
appointment during adoption hours, Thursday through Saturday from 11:00
am to 4:00 pm, by calling 602-971-1334. Sedona is eagerly waiting for her

Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.

We do adoptions from shelter every Thursday 11:00am to 4:00 pm and we are at Petsmart Tatum and Shea every other Sunday from 11-3pm. Please check our website for more specifics.

More about this rescue

Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.

We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
