Talk about a lovely girl. Just like her name, she is a blossoming flower bud. Calla Lily is a darling girl that came to us in pretty beat up shape. She was possibly hit by a car or suffered a tremendous fall. This caused her diaphragm to experience a horrendous hernia. Thus causing her organs and colon to push into her chest cavity. She lived with this injury for almost 2 weeks before it was finally treated. Our vert discovered her broken ribs and injuries via an xray. She got to work real quick and Calla Lily was patched up with a well planned out surgery. She pushed through and after 2 full days or rest and recoup, this girl is doing amazing. Calla Lily was tested at the time of surgery for FIV and did test positive. Even with that diagnosis she is healing extremely well, is in high spirits and cant wait to get adopted.
She loves people, kids and spending time with a family. Calla Lily likes to cuddle under blankets and hang out in cozy warm spots. This darling still has a few weeks of recovery ahead of her but is already looking forward to being adopted. Calla Lily did not seem to mind dogs either.
