Born March 31, 2024, she was the smallest of her litter, but she never let it slow her down. She is fearless and loves rough housing with her brother, Adeje. They also enjoy curling up together for naps every day and again at bedtime. They have been a tight unit since they were born and would like to be adopted together in their forever home. She is a 'mighty hunter' with all her toys and with bugs. Nothing gets past her! Little Caleta is a sweetheart, too - she loves to curl up by your neck or lay out in your arms for a nice long nap. She enjoys long baths after she eats and keeps herself very clean and makes sure Adeje is also groomed! Caleta would do well in a home where she can be active but also have time to cuddle. She has gotten along with all the dogs, cats, and people that she's met so far.

At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.
