Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cinderella "Cindy"
ARE YOU CINDERELLAS GLASS SLIPPER PERFECT FIT?
Cindy has a story that is much more heartbreaking than we originally thought. Originally we thought she had been living in her small crate for a month-month and a half while her owner was in the hospital. Per the vet notes the amount of matting and her skin condition suggests shes been subjected to that crate for months if not a year. Her being only 1.5 - 2 means that a large portion if not over half of her life was spent in that crate.
She is a 1.5-2yo Shih-Poo (Shih Tzu x Poodle)
She weighed 13lbs at intake. The ideal wealthy weight for her is approximately 14-15lbs.
She is spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative.
She was sedated for an emergency trim and her skin and coat are healing.
She is cat, dog & kid friendly.
She is very loving and playful. She still has the puppy like energy and is making the most of her second chance.
She likes to sunbathe in the yard with her fur siblings.
Understandably so, she doesn't like to be left alone and will whine. To combat that she does best when she has a doggie or feline companion. If she has a friend she doesnt really have any issues.
She is very much a velcro lap dog. She wants to sit in your lap and sleep in your bed. She just loves to be with you.
Shes very peopley and doesnt meet strangers, just friends shes meeting for the first time.
Shes rather quiet for a small dog and her foster mom has only heard her bark twice since coming to her home.
She has started working on her house training as unfortunately with the hand she was dealt that wasn't an option for her. She is showing improvement but does still have tinkle accidents at times. To combat this her foster mom puts down a potty pad if she knows she will not be home to let her out in time.
If you would like to schedule a meet and greet with Cinderella please fill out an adoption application as we must have and approved application on file prior to meets. Processing time is 2-7 days as its a one woman show here.
