Rydell is the runt and as the runt she has made it her job to be the bravest and toughest of them all! Rydell doesn't back down from a challenge and is usually the first to try anything. She was the first one with her eyes open and the first one to get her teeth. She is pretty confident but care should be taken to make sure her first experiences are positive.
Rydell has been raised on Puppy Culture. Puppy Culture is a comprehensive program for new puppies that aims to optimize a puppy's physical and mental developement. The goal of the program is to raise confident and healthy puppies. Since birth Lady has been handled, touched, stroked, smooched on and doted over. She has had many experiences to different sights, sounds (thunderstorm, dogs barking, TV, train, vacuum, hair dryer, etc.) and surfaces (grass, carpet, rock, vinyl, water, stairs, balance board, etc). In addition, she has had many opportunities to meet different people and dogs and go to different places. She has been taught to explore and try new things, how to communicate with people through manding, how to be creative in her thoughts and approaches to challenges, and been exposed to grooming equipment. Rydell has a mind of her own and decides if she is going to learn new things or do things her own way!
Rydell has been weaned on a raw diet and had her gut biome enhanced with a variety of different foods. Studies have shown this can help with gut health throughout the rest of her life.
Rydell's adoption is $550. Here is what your $550 gets you:
1. All 3 rounds of pupps vaccinations, approx value $150
2. Complete wellness exam, microchip, and deworming, approx value $130
3. Spay and neuter reimburse, value $200
4. Puppy Culture training from birth to adopt, approx value $300+
5. Food to take home, approx value $20
6. A cute, snuggly, perfect puppy, value PRICELESS!
APPLICATIONS AT LEIASHOPE.ORG
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
