My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Guava. My siblings and my Mama Laura were rescued from Georgia and are here at Big Dog Ranch to find our FURever homes. I seem to be the runt of the pack but still got some spit and spirit in me. I am a sweet young pup in need of training to learn all the necessary manners to make me your best dog buddy ever. Mama is a Black Mouth Cur so that is us puppies mix, but Mama has not told us who our Daddy is. She is over 50# so I still got growing to do. Black Mouth Curs are not particularly well-known dogs but we are known as a great choice for an active family, and households with a yard so I can go out and run around and play. I like the cool A/C too so don't leave me out in the hot sun too long. I am a loyal, intelligent, active, and eager-to-please pup but can be a bit sensitive and protective too. Big Dog Ranch offers a FREE training session when you adopt me to make sure we start off on the Right PAW! Can't wait to meet ya

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
