My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Marmalade!

This trouble-making orange boy came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services with his two siblings Blaze and Sunny as a litter of stray kitties.

Marmalade's favorite hobbies include grooming his brothers after a yummy meal, eating his little heart out, getting all the zoomies, and being the most talkative of his siblings! He loves getting pets and belly-rubs and his fosters say he's quite a confident kitty!

Marmalade would love to find a home with one of his brothers but would likely do fine in a home with another playful kitty. It is currently unknown how he will do with dogs but should be fine with a cat-savvy pup in the home. It's important to introduce any new animals to the home slowly and over time. Marmalade's purr-ferred adopters would be adults only or families with cat-savvy children over the age six who can be home throughout the day to continue his positive socialization.

Marmalade is currently in foster care. A meet and greet can be scheduled once an application has been received and approved. Please complete an online application located at animalfriendsrescue.org.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
