My name is SAM!

OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF:
Sam arrived with her friend, Marcelene, as strays and their owner never came for them. The shelter is no place for these two to be spending any time. They should be out enjoying their senior years in a warm home where they can bask in the sunshine in the summer and lay by a fireplace in the winter. Sam is a very friendly and affectionate dog that LOVES to play with toys! She would highly benefit by getting her teeth cleaned. She can be a bit grabby with treats, so caution will need to be used if around smaller children when they have food. She walks well on the leash and knows the sit command. She doesn’t seem to mind cats.
