Lucky Bear was live-trapped at a horse farm where the cats were breeding indiscriminately. Lucky Bear certainly had been contributing his share. However, the younger males were succeeding in beating the tar out of him.
Those days are over for Lucky Bear; as we all agreed that he could not be returned to the farm, even though he has been neutered.
Lucky Bear is sweet, loves to eat and certainly deserves a life of leisure. He still looks a bit rough from all his confrontations, but improves each day.
The matts have been combed from his fur and the scabs from fighting are disappearing. His ears are a bit short from frost-bite, but that only adds character to his big, round face, with his little squinty eyes.
