Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Squid, or Squiddy, or Squidward Mcfancy pants. This silly girl is the life of the party. Diagnosed with a mild case of cerebral hyperplasia or `Wobbly cat syndrome` she`ll leave you entertained, giggling and relaxed after a long day. Squid loves to be carried, her foster mom would hold her upside down on her back like a baby and she would just purr away. Some of her favourite toys include: Kitchen sponges and socks, she can be caught carrying them around the house like it was a prize she just won. Due to her cerebral hyperplasia she does have a hard time jumping up on things and instead prefers to climb to reach high places. You could try giving her a ramp to get on your bed or couch but she`d prefer to just `Spider-Man it` anyway.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SAVING A LIFE! Volunteers and staff are excited to assist you in the adoption process! Contact us at rescue@wright-wayrescue.org or call us today at (847) 728-5434.

Potential homes should be willing to fill out an online application, or one in person at our event. We interview new adopters and place pets based on their needs and the suitability of the adoptive home. We do take "reservations" on our animals prior to our events with an approved application/ reference check.

Wright-Way Rescue is an all-breed, no-kill, licensed, not for profit animal shelter. We deal with a high volume of puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats who would otherwise be euthanized. We concentrate our efforts on animals whose temperament best suite the needs of the average "family" adopter. All animals come up to date on medical care, and with 30 days of free pet insurance.
