More about this shelter
We are the Humane Society of Atchison, we take in strays from the counties surrounding Atchison and pets from owners that can not take care of them any longer. It is our mission to help animals in need, we treat for any disease which they have incurred, they are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and worming. We work the hardest on trying to find these animals their forever home.
We are not funded my the city or county, we run totally on donations, adoption fees and a few grants.
