My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Back in January, we took on several cats that had been involved in a house fire. Some were worse off than others, and Laboon was one of the kitties who was pretty badly burned from the incident.

After several months of love and care, sweet Laboon is finally all better, and he is now searching for his forever home!

This tabby is a love bug and a cuddler. He is a total lap cat who loves his people! Laboon also enjoys playing with toys and is very playful.

Laboon would love to be king of the castle and get all of the attention to himself, but he can learn to co-exist with feline friends after some time and with a slow introduction.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. This is primarily done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home.

We believe that saving more lives can be accomplished through educating others on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as through safe and effective trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNvR) practices.

We live by the conviction that compassion for animals applies to all species, not just cats.
