Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hercules is the handsomest boy AND he's housebroken. He's a boxer/pit mix who weighs about 75 pounds but is a firm believer in "if I fits, I sits! so lap cuddles are his jam. He loves being outside and has been working hard at following all his leash commands, but he'd much rather have free range zoomies. He gets super excited when you come home and embraces his inner jumping bean, it's a work in progress!
His daily agenda includes snuggling up on the bed or couch but he always makes time to bark at the squirrels outside. Safety is his priority so he'll always be one step behind you to make sure you don't get into any trouble! He loves treats, toys he can shred, all the scratches, and a good sun bathing. He has a littermate who he's lived with his whole life and would love to bring on his adventure to a new home, but also wouldn't mind making new friends or being the sole attention recipient of the house if given the option.
He does well with other large dogs and loves children. Houses with cats and small dogs are not the home for him.
Hercules is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
