Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rose is the sweetest girl AND she's housebroken. She's a boxer/pit mix who weighs about 65 pounds but is a firm believer in "if I fits, I sits! so lap cuddles are her jam.
She loves walks and has been working really hard at following all her leash commands. She gets super excited when you come home and embraces her inner jumping bean, it's a work in progress!
Her daily agenda includes snuggling up on the bed or couch but she always makes time to bark at the squirrels outside. Safety is her priority so she'll always be one step behind you to make sure you don't get into any trouble! She loves treats, toys she can shred, all the scratches, and a good sun bathing.
Thunderstorms and kennels are really scary so she needs someone who is willing to give her extra snuggles when the thunder gets too loud, and assure her the kennel can be a safe fun place to relax in. She has a littermate who she's lived with her whole life and would love to bring on her adventure to a new home, but also wouldn't mind being the sole princess of the house if given the option.
She does well with other large dogs and loves children. Houses with cats and small dogs are not the home for her.
Rose is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
