Long Term Resident Alert!! My name is Amelia, and I may be a tiny bit shy at first, but my perky nature comes out right away with a few scratches under my chin. I love to be hand fed a little afternoon snack. The way into my heart is brushing and wet food! My foster mom reports that I sometimes fall asleep during my grooming sessions because I am so happy! I also allow her sweet children to hold me like a baby!

I am a sweet old lady who is looking for a home devoted to pampering me in my golden years. Ask an adoption coordinator to put you in touch with my foster mom if you would like to meet me!

Amelia is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is being fostered at the moment so email adoptions@caspca.org and we can set you up with the foster family to coordinate a time to come in and see her! To sweeten the deal, her adoption fee is sponsored, so she is FREE!!

Additional adoption info

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
