Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Bell! He will say "eek eek" in response. The name "Belle" has linguistic roots that refer to feminine beauty, but perhaps this gentleman got his name sake because he makes a lot of noise like a bell. That's right, he is VERY charismatic. And quirky, and full of personality!

Mr. Bell has been adopted and returned to us multiple times due to allergies in the homes. It is not uncommon for humans to have a minor irritation in response to timothy hay, which guinea pigs need to graze on at all hours. Fun fact - sometimes the root cause of an allergy can even be an animals saliva.

Bell originally lived with another guinea pig, but he was not very kind to his friend so they had to be separated. It is possible that he is so vocal because he misses his former companion, even though they had their differences. If you have another male guinea pig at home, Bell may enjoy their company! However, he would need to be carefully supervised and housed in a separate cage when you're unable to keep an eye on them.
