Meet Navy, a 2-month-old sweetheart with a playful spirit and a heart as big as Lake Michigan! Like her brother Wrigley and sister Millie, Navy was bred to be sold but found herself in need of a new home after her guardians’ divorce. Rescued alongside her parents, Brian and Annie, and her two siblings, Navy is a bundle of energy who loves to explore, play, and snuggle. She’s incredibly social, getting along wonderfully with other dogs, and would thrive in a home with a playful companion or one of her littermates. Navy’s affectionate nature and joyful demeanor make her a perfect fit for a loving family. Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
