Meet Bia! This brindle beauty was surrendered through no fault of her own and can't wait for her new start! Bia is good on a leash and loves to meet new people. She will 'sit' and 'paw' for treats before retrieving them gently. Bia rather be getting to know you better than playing with toys. This easy-going gal is house-trained and has lived with children and teenagers with no issues. Bia would be a great addition to any family. Bia is currently in foster, please get in touch with the shelter at (757) 382-8080 if you'd like to meet her!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Come on in and find your new best friend! Walk through our kennels and find a pet that you're interested in.

2.

Submit Application

Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for any other dogs/cats in your home is required prior to meeting with any of our adoptable animals

3.

Meet the Pet

You will get the chance to meet in a private visitation room. Meet & greets are required for dogs

4.

Pay Fee

$110 for dogs. $75 for cats. The second fee is waived if two cats are adopted together. Includes spay/neuter, chip, and vaccines

5.

Take the Pet Home

Your new pet can go home once they are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have received their rabies vaccination.
