At the shelter, we have a delightful hound mix named Foghorn who is 4 years old and weighs 56lbs. When he first arrived, he was a bit underweight, but with care and love, he is now at a healthy weight. Foghorn adores going on adventures and investigating all the intriguing scents that nature has to offer. No doubt his nose could lead him to trouble, so he needs someone who will be with him while outside. Although he is a friendly pup, he is not particularly fond of toys. To keep Foghorn content, regular walks that allow him to soak in the wonders of the world through his nose are essential. Walks filled with the scents of life will surely bring a smile to Foghorn's face.
Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter
Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
