While I love her dearly, I'm looking to rehome my 7-year-old Havanese, [Dog's name]. She's a ball of energy – playful, funny, and loves walks and adventures. We had her before the pandemic, but with the change in routine, she got a little spoiled and needs some work on her training again.
Here's the most important thing: She's great with other dogs but not suitable for a home with children. Unfortunately, she snapped at my toddler twice, the second time drawing blood. It's heartbreaking, but for the safety of both my child and [Dog's name], I need to find her a new home without young children.
I believe she would thrive in an active home with someone who can dedicate time to retraining and who enjoys an energetic companion. She'd be a great fit for someone who wants a loving and loyal dog by their side.
I don't know how she is with cats, so a cat-free home might be ideal.
