Bilbo Waggins is a 9-month old Doodle mix (best guess-mini labradoodle) weighing 30 pounds. He came to us as stray so his history is unknown. Bilbo Waggins is all puppy! High energy (typical of the breed), playful and no manners! He needs training on everything including housebreaking and leash work. Treat motivated, happy guy! Loves toys of all kinds. Calms down nice for cuddles. Will need regular professional grooming as he has a quick growing double coat. He is very intelligent with a social personality, will need an active home that will provide mental & physical stimulation, an outlet for his high energy and little time spent alone. Will become destructive without sufficient daily enrichment. Suspected separation anxiety-Velcro dog! Does well on car rides. Did well with professional groomer, typically disliked his feet being overly messed with and slightly frightened of the blow dryer.
His adoption fee is $350, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $20.75.
Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review.
