Silvi began as an outdoor community cat in a rural neighbourhood. She is bold and made herself known to her future caretakers when very hungry and pregnant with her first litter. Always a friendly girl, she visited regularly for food after that. Even from a distance, whenever she saw the caretakers outside, she would start to announce herself as if ordering her food to be ready and waiting for her. A year later and pregnant with a second litter, she was brought indoors to provide a safe haven for her kittens.
Silvi took to being indoors instantly, with the endless food supply being her love language of choice. She is a unique, gentle girl who trusted her caretakers with her kittens from the start. She was an excellent mother, completely devoted to her little ones, but preferred to remain aloof in the background and sought little attention for herself.
After the responsibility for her kittens ended, a playful side to Silvi’s personality surfaced. Lounging on a tall cat tree or a window-sill and observing the world around her is her favorite thing to do. However, she will energetically pounce on pipe cleaners or pursue dangling strings. She is not a cuddler, but enjoys being stroked along her back and scratched under her chin or behind her ears. Silvi is the perfect companion, being an easy-keeper with a mellow spirit that enjoys company. Keep her food and water bowl full, her litter box clean, attention when she seeks it, and she is a contented girl.

Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age.
