Hey everyone, I’m Doja! Yep, you guessed it—I’m named after the fabulous singer Doja Cat, and I’m ready to bring some music and joy into your life! I’m a female domestic short-haired kitten, born in March 2024, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home. I was born into a home with my littermates, but I found my way to It Takes a Village because there were too many cats in the home. Now, I’m ready to find a family that will give me all the love and attention I deserve. I’m great with dogs, cats, and kids, and I’m litterbox trained—basically, I’m the full package! We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
