My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chucky, a charming male kitten born in April 2024, ready to steal your heart. Chucky enjoys snuggling up with his littermates but also values his independence, making him the perfect balance of cuddly and self-sufficient. With a playful spirit, he delights in both interacting with his siblings and exploring his surroundings with his favorite toys. Chucky is fond of other cats and has confidently shared his space with large dogs, showcasing his adaptable nature. If you're searching for a furry companion who's equal parts affectionate and adventurous, Chucky is the purrfect addition to your family. Apply today to adopt Chucky at ITVrescue.org.

All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
