Introducing our sweet little furry face Weston aka Herbie! Herbie is a 2-year-old male Shih Tzu who weighs approximately 17 pounds and is a fluffy bundle of joy! What’s not to love about Herbie?! He is young, playful and always ready for an adventure! Herbie has a soft, plush coat and a lively personality. He is potty trained, does well on a leash and is good with other dogs and children! He loves cats… well chasing them that is, so if you have one, he might not be the perfect match for you. Herbie loves to play any time of the day or night, squeaky toys are his favorite. If you aren’t quick enough to send his squeaker flying, he’ll jump up on your lap and roll around to get your attention! Herbie has all the personality and love anyone could ever hope for! Herbie’s perfect forever home will be with an active family or individual who can give him daily walks and regular grooming to look and feel his best. Herbie will do great with another well-adjusted fur sibling or just fine as an only pup. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and has been dewormed and microchipped. Interview

We will call if we feel you are a fit for one of our adoptable pets. Once confirmed, we will set up a meet and greet with the pet.

3.
Home Check

We will visit your home to see the environment where the dog will live and answer your questions.

Additional adoption info

Additional Information:

If applicable, we'll call your veterinarian to ensure that previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for.

For renters, we'll check with your landlord to ensure that dogs are permitted and that the dog that you're adopting wouldn't violate any size or breed restrictions.

Adoption fees are generally between $300-$450 depending on which pup you are adopting.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them.
