My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This stunning young tortie lady is Ve. She was brought to Wild Blue when she and others from her colony were found pregnant. She had her beautiful kittens on leap day 2024, and was a very good momma. Now that they are raised and ready to go to forever homes, Ve is looking for a forever of her own. She was semi-feral when she first arrived and is still shy of strangers and strange situations. Ve has come a long way though, and shows her sweet spunky personality to those who make time to gain her trust. It is recommended that she join a calm home with either cat experience or the willingness to learn her body language. Once you are friends, Ve will come rub against your legs seeking pets. She'll lean in for pets on the top of her head and along her back. She has an adorable habit of hunting her toys and bringing them to you to be acknowledged. She will carry them in her mouth, meowing until you praise her mighty skills. Sometimes pets around her cheeks and chest overwhelm her and she will give you a small swat without claws to let you know she's had enough. She also seeks attention from other cats, but will swat and hiss when they don't respect her space. She truly loves her kittens Viva, Vroom and VanPelt (who are also available for adoption) and likes to play and snuggle with them. She is excellent about using her litter box and scratching posts. Her favorite places to rest are her cat tree and just at the edge of under a bed. Ve is a good eater with no known food sensitivies. She is still learning to take treats by hand, preferring to have them set in her food dish. If you have room in your heart for a sweet shy girl and the patience for a potential slow-burn friendship, please consider Ve. She'll return your kindness a hundred-fold.November 5, 2024, 5:36 pm
