My story

My name is Sissy Blue and I am a very loving Blue Heeler girl that is only 1 year old and I weigh 50 pounds. I was part of a trio of Heelers dropped off in the countryside in rural Tennessee and I have been at a shelter until very recently. Critter Cavalry Rescue loves Heelers of any color and they took all three of us and have vetted us and promised to get us the perfect home. I am terrific with people and I will kiss them and wag my tail and show them I am grateful for anything they do for me. I love other dogs, am good with cats and I am housebroken too. What I need most in life is a total forever commitment from someone to love me and take care of me forever. I will in return, be loyal, obedient, smart, easy to take anywhere with you, and I will pledge my undying love, heart and soul, to my family or single human. They say Heelers are some of the smartest dogs in the world and I will prove to you that I am everything you could want in a dog. We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home?
