Meet Paisley, a puppy with a heart full of love and a spirit that embodies pure gentleness. Her sweetness radiates, drawing everyone close to her. Paisley is a friend to all, her friendly nature is evident in her interactions with both humans and other animals. Though she may be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly, offering her trust and affection in return for a little patience. Paisley's mellow temperament makes her an ideal companion for quiet evenings and peaceful walks. Her gentle nature makes her a perfect fit for a family looking for a loving, low-energy pet. Adopt Paisley, and bring home a bundle of sweet, shy, and gentle love. Paisley is available for rescue or adoption. She came in with her sister Josie and both are sweet babies. She does have demodex mange and will need time to heal but seem to be doing well after just finishing a round of meds.

Submit Application

2.
Approve Application

We review your application & verify that your current pets are up-to-date on vaccinations and current on heartworm prevention (dogs only).

3.
Meet the Pet

If approved, we notify you within 1-3 days and set up a meeting between you and the pet you've chosen.

4.
Pay Fee

The adoption fee for a dog is $75. The adoption fee for a cat is $50.

5.
Take the Pet Home

We require an adoption contract which states that you'll care for the pet properly & return him/her to us if you can no longer keep him/her.

Additional adoption info

Our pets' adoption fee includes the cost of spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, and heartworm testing for dogs and FeLV/FIV testing for cats. An adoption application and contract are required.

We're a very small shelter operated by the City of Hernando. We are physically located at 1203 Nesbit Dr, Nesbit Ms 38651

We are very dedicated to providing the very best care for our city's homeless pets and committed to educating the public about how to properly care for the animals in their families. We do all we can to keep pets in homes and out of the shelter. Because the south has such an extreme pet overpopulation problem, we try to relieve some of that pressure by transporting as many animals as possible to northern humane societies and waiting adopters.
