My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dino, the resilient feline with a heart of gold. Originally a colony cat living behind a church, Dino's life took a dramatic turn when the church dismantled the cat shelters and demanded the feeding stop. In the confusion, not knowing where to go, he ran into traffic, colliding with a car.

Thanks to the kindness of donors, Dino underwent surgery, piecing together his shattered leg and paving the way for his remarkable recovery. Despite losing vision in his right eye, Dino's spirit remains undimmed. He's now back on all four paws, playful and full of joy, eagerly greeting humans and bonding effortlessly with other cats.

Dino has a penchant for laps, where he enjoys cuddling up and soaking in affection. His favorite pastime involves chasing wand toys with infectious enthusiasm, showcasing his joie de vivre at every opportunity. With his courage and resilience, Dino embodies strength and warmth that capture the hearts of everyone he meets.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
