Meet baby Emmett! He was born on 4/2/24 in rural Oklahoma. A local’s dog “accidentally” had puppies so Emmett and his 7 littermates traveled up here to safety in Omaha. They needed to avoid going to the scary, overcrowded shelter there. Mom was a Black Labrador Retriever and Dad was an Australian Shepherd (both are getting fixed now- don’t worry)! Emmett is his foster mama’s pick of the litter! She says he’s a gem…soft, sweet, outgoing, loyalty supreme. This adorable guy will be someone's right hand man, shotgun rider, ride or die partner. He is a pleaser. He’s in a foster home with other dogs, kids, goats, mini pigs, etc, and is learning quickly how to be the best good boy. He’s currently 12 lbs. Emmett will be neutered by our vets when age appropriate, is vaccinated up to date, microchipped, dewormed, and ready to meet his forever family! His adoption donation fee is $400. We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you. Thank you for choosing adoption!!
