Rosie is a gorgeous, golden-eyed, playful and fun, eleven-month-old, eight-pound female tortoiseshell kitten looking for a loving guardian.
Rosie hitched a ride in a parked car. When the owner of the car pulled into his garage, out popped Rosie. She had burns to her face and shoulder from the heat of the vehicle.
That was back in March. She is now completely healed physically, and thanks to her amazing foster family, she has healed mentally too. She was very frightened and untrusting when she came into rescue. Since she’s been on fluoxetine (generic Prozac) for a little over a month and it’s helped her relax enough to enjoy the company of other cats, dogs and all the people she meets. It’s been a very helpful tool for Rosie.
She is an extremely smart and playful girl. She loves interactive food games and puzzles, and flies through the air for a wand toy with a feather.
She is very healthy, spayed, dewormed, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus tested negative for FIV/Felv, dewormed, and microchipped.
She’s now looking for a feline-lover to take her into their heart and home.
