My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dorothy is a rare orange tabby female kitten, so cute, and very sweet! She may be a little shy with strangers, but when you pet her she will roll over and invite belly rubs.

Dorothy is mellow and is looking for a similar kind of household. She has a quiet little purr and is always gentle too. While she likes to play, she equally enjoys snuggling when she's done.

Dorothy needs to be adopted to a home with another young, friendly kitten to be her buddy. We could also match her with another of our foster kittens.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes:
(1) The application;
(2) An in-person meeting with the cat and an HCN volunteer (currently mostly/all contact-free due to the pandemic); and
(3) A home visit (currently virtual in most cases due to the pandemic) to discuss safety and adjustment issues, prior to or at the time of adoption.
An adoption contract will be signed and an adoption fee collected.
