My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Beaux, the embodiment of friendliness and charm. This lovable pooch strikes a perfect balance between being a couch potato and an enthusiastic playmate. Here's a glimpse into Beaux's delightful personality:

Snuggle Bug: Beaux's favorite pastime? Cuddling up with his humans. His warm, affectionate nature makes him the ultimate snuggle companion. Whether it's a lazy Sunday afternoon or a chilly evening, Beaux is there, ready to share some cozy moments.
Social Butterfly: Beaux's tail wags with excitement whenever he meets new people. He's a socialite who thrives on human interaction. And guess what? He's equally thrilled to engage in playful romps with fellow dogs. Beaux knows that life is better when you have friends to share it with.
Energetic Explorer: Don't let his couch potato tendencies fool you-Beaux has a zest for adventure! He's up for backyard escapades during family barbecues, where he'll happily supervise the grill or chase after fallen leaves. But wait, there's more: Beaux is your ideal hiking buddy. Those scenic trails at the local park? He's ready to conquer them with boundless energy.
Mile-Muncher: Need a running partner? Look no further. Beaux's enthusiasm knows no bounds when it comes to pounding the pavement. Whether it's a leisurely jog or a sprint, he'll be right by your side, tail wagging, urging you to go that extra mile.
Goofy Goodness: Beaux's endearing goofiness is part of his charm. His playful antics, silly expressions, and tail-chasing episodes will keep you laughing. After all, life is better with a touch of whimsy, and Beaux delivers it in spades.
So, if you're ready for a versatile companion who can switch seamlessly from lazy cuddles to outdoor adventures, Beaux is your guy. He eagerly awaits the chance to meet his forever family and share his heartwarming antics.

Beaux is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Additional adoption info

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.

Go meet their pets

We have monthly adoption events at different locations in Dallas and Fort Worth which are announced on our social media pages and will also be posted on our website.

We will also set up an appointment with you to meet the dog of your choosing.
