Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Shirley is a one-year-old, medium-to-large brown tabby girl with a sweet disposition and good-natured personality. She is easy going: her trips to the vet are pleasant with very little stress. She is a well-behaved house cat who never misses the cat box and absolutely loves her scratching post. She is friendly and affectionate. She is self-confident, at ease around other cats, and will welcome the company of a dog (after proper introduction, of course.) She is active and playful but also enjoys lap time and brushing. Shirley was always Miss Congeniality. In her ideal home, she would love a window perch to watch birds and squirrels outside. A tall cat tree would be perfect for her to nap on while keeping your couch free of cat hair. Shirley has a brother, Lenny. The two get along and are often found napping together. Shirley can be adopted by herself or with her brother Lenny. She is in good health, up to date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. A short video of Shirley in action is available upon request. For more information about Shirley, please contact Brenda at 512-791-3006 or email brendaestell@gmail.com

More about this rescue
We are a small group of animal loving women and men who used to rescue cats individually then one day joined together to pool our resources and hold joint adoption events on week-ends. We do it because we love animals and feel a sense of responsibility toward companion animals, who are totally dependent on humans for their survival and well being, and who are too often betrayed and abandonned by their human caretakers. We are involved in TNR, when we find feral kittens we tame them and put them up for adoption. WE provide spay/neuter services to low-income families unable to pay for those services, if there are kittens in those families we place them in our adoption program. We feed several feral cat colonies. We raise funds to pay for vet care for injured or sick cats.
