Meet Sadie, a sweet and gentle 2-year-old female Shephard mix with a heart full of love. Abandoned by her owners on the side of a busy road, She was rescued by our local Animal Control Officer (ACO) and then we stepped in to give foster her until she can find her forever home. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. She has a calm, loving nature that makes her an ideal companion. Sunny will need a forever home with lots of love and patience as she is very skittish to sounds and lots of movement (she often run and hides).
She is now looking for her forever home where she can share her boundless affection and loyalty. She can be transported out of Texas for a fee of $230. First step to being considered for one of our pets is to fill out an adoption application. If chosen for a pet, an adoption fee is paid to hold the pet. This fee covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, worming, 1st heartworm preventative, plus any other vetting that needs to be done.

We are a foster - based rescue that formed out of necessity because there was such a high-kill rate at our local city shelter. We rescue dogs from the shelter when the shelter becomes full. Otherwise, they are put down after their allotted time is up. We then place them in loving foster homes until they are adopted.
We also rescue other pets from the community as needed.
