My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**I AM PARTICIPATING IN THE ADOPTION EXTRAVAGANZA!!**

My name is Cookie! I am a 2 year old, 55 pound, Mixed Breed pup and lemme tell ya, I have been on a journey. You see, I took a flight all the way from Afghanistan to join TNT in hopes of finding a forever family here in the USA! I'm not going to lie, I was very nervous when I arrived here, not knowing anyone or my new surroundings. Fast forward to now, and I'm living it up in my foster home! With slow introductions, I have assimilated into the pack with my canine foster siblings. Sometimes I'm the peace-maker, and sometimes I'm the chaos coordinator, just like any good boy! If I get too amped up, I'm easily redirected. I'm very sweet and with proper time to decompress, I think I'd do well with respectful children, in the same way I warm up to new adults when given time to approach on my terms. I recently met my first cat friend and I'm happy to report I did great! So if you have a feline family member, I might be a perfect dog friend to them!

Not to brag, but I am doing so well with training guys. I am potty trained, I walk well on a harness and I already know 'sit' and 'down'. I'm working on 'stay' and touch', too. I have many opinions, especially when the Bears are playing badly or a small rambunctious dog gets in my space on a walk, so I'm working on keeping my opinions to myself. I am...cough cough...obsessed with food...so I'm working on being a good dinner guest when the humans are eating. What can I say? Food is good stuff! I LOVE a comfy bed or couch, and I especially love snoozing in my safe space - my crate. My foster mom says I have the sweetest eyes and softest ears, and when I nuzzle you for pets it's the most heartwarming feeling. I will need time to decompress in my forever home, but once I do, you'll get to know a very loving and playful companion who will greet you with SO MUCH EXCITEMENT every day. I will bring endless joy and love to any family willing to take a a chance on me. If I seem like the dog for you, please submit an application!

My adoption fee is $100
