Cocco is a beautiful pup looking for a patient and loving home. While she takes a little time to warm up to new dogs and people, once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate side shines through. She's completely house trained and walks well on a leash, making her a wonderful companion for strolls in the park.

This sweet girl knows commands like "sit, "lay, and "shake, and she absolutely loves to give kisses and hugs once she's comfortable. Cocco can be a bit mischievous and active, especially when playing with dogs she trusts. When she's happy, you'll see her stand on her hind legs and reach out her front paws, a delightful expression of her joy!

Step one:
Browse our available animals online. Our website has more details on every animal, including any known history with dogs, cats, and kids, as well as individual adoption fees. Visit https://www.austinpetsalive.org/adopt

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
