Tater is a 6-month-old Lab, Staffordshire Terrier, and Pug mix who’s as sweet and snuggly as his name suggests! This lovable boy’s favorite thing in the world is to be held like a little baby—he’s the ultimate lap dog and adores being close to his people.

Tater has a gentle and friendly personality that shines with everyone he meets, whether it’s kids, other dogs, or new friends. He’s crate-trained, doing great with potty training, and soaking up all the love and care from his foster family.

Southern Tails Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit, supported by local community donations in order to ensure the physical and medical well-being of the dogs. We rely solely on the financial support of our donors’ generosity as well as any fundraisers we host, and the time and energy of our volunteers. We focus on rescuing dogs from rural shelters and streets in the surrounding areas of Charleston, South Carolina. We believe every paw has a tale.
