Meet Spud! 🐾

Spud is a 4 1/2-month-old Staffordshire Terrier, Labrador, and Hound mix with a personality as charming as his name. This little guy came into our rescue with his mom and eight siblings when they were found together on a kind person’s property. We’ve had Spud and his siblings since they were just a couple of weeks old, and they’ve grown into some of the sweetest, friendliest pups we’ve ever met.

Playful Personality: Spud has boundless energy and loves to play! Whether it’s a game of fetch or just some cuddle time, he’s ready for it all.
Social Butterfly: This little one absolutely lights up around new people and other dogs, making him a perfect fit for a home with other pets.

Healthy and Ready: Spud is up-to-date on all his vaccines and can’t wait to find his forever home.

Southern Tails Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit, supported by local community donations in order to ensure the physical and medical well-being of the dogs. We rely solely on the financial support of our donors’ generosity as well as any fundraisers we host, and the time and energy of our volunteers. We focus on rescuing dogs from rural shelters and streets in the surrounding areas of Charleston, South Carolina. We believe every paw has a tale.
