Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 10/26/2023, Max is a 49 lb. Boxer/ Lab mix. Max came to us from a shelter and is a shy boy. He loves other dogs but is not quite sure of people and a home with other dogs would be best so that he can take his cues from the other pets in the house. Max loves playing with other dogs. Max likes toys, is obedient, and just needs that special person. He loves when he gets to run around in the play yard. He is working on leash training, the command "sit" and is very eager to learn new things. He will need a home with patience to help him come out of his shell. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
